The oversight on contracted Logistic Service Providers (LSPs) enhances collaboration and ensures compliance with security requirements, fostering a seamless and secure logistics ecosystem for all stakeholders involved.

  • LandRisk Logistics enables you to plan and monitor multiple road freight routes and find secure truck parking spots, based on accurate incident data and parking security assessments. The system automates your route monitoring, providing notifications for security incidents and emerging threats and includes assessments of cargo theft hotspots and other high threat areas along your routes.

    LandRisk Logistics includes more than 9,000 assessed parking areas throughout Europe, including 250 secure truck parking areas - all easily accessible in a map view and via dashboards from any location on a laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

  • The route planning tool allows you to save routes to the System and set notifications for incidents taking place on individual routes. Saved routes can be viewed on a strategic dashboard allowing you to monitor and compare risks across your organisation’s routes with all data automatically updated with the latest System information.

    A tactical dashboard enables you to β€˜drill down’ into a route in detail and view all incidents, threat assessments and parking assessments along a route enabling tactical decision-making related to route planning such as lay-overs and planned parking.

    The System also enables contingency planning in the event of delays or disruptions affecting your trucks in transit. You can quickly plan an alternative route and identify the most secure parking stops on your new route providing you with a β€˜plan B’ when your trucks must make unplanned stops. You can also approve parking areas for your company’s use based on our assessments and your organisation’s risk tolerance and share a list of your approved parking with your logistics partners.

  • LandRisk Logistics provides you with a common operating picture enhancing visibility of security threats to your logistics routes which can be easily shared within your organisation. Information that supports our incident reports, hotspot threat assessments and parking area assessments is collected, processed, analysed and published to the System by our dedicated LandRisk team. In addition, our analysis team also create country level threat assessments and more localised high threat area assessments which consider a variety of security threats to the land-based supply chain.

    We use all available open sources to gather our data and also have an incident information sharing agreement with TAPA EMEA. We also welcome reports of incidents from our users which can be anonymised and added to the System. We use various tools to collect our data but there is always a human analysis in the loop when adding content to the System.

  • We are developing an enhancement to LandRisk Logistics in collaboration with a client providing a System β€˜master’ user with oversight on the security measures employed by their contracted LSPs. Through joint access to the System, β€˜master’ users and their LSPs will benefit from a common operating picture highlighting the threats to logistics routes operated by each contracted LSP. Through a specific System layer, a β€˜master’ user can view the routes, parking areas and security measures each LSP will employ when transporting their goods.

    Each LSP enjoys the benefits of the System when planning, operating and monitoring logistics routes in support of the β€˜master’ user. Only the β€˜master’ user has oversight on all LSP routes, individual LSPs cannot view other LSP System information. This networked tool will improve communication and streamline workflows between users who employ LSPs to move their goods. It will also make it easier for LSPs to demonstrate compliance with their clients logistics security requirements and react promptly when there are changes in the security situation which may impact their client transports.

  • LandRisk Logistics hosts a database including information on more than 21,000 otherwise hard-to-find incidents from multiple sources. It is updated daily and aims to enhance the visibility of security threats to logistics routes via a dynamic and simple-to-use map interface.

    Our incident reports are published on the System as soon as the information becomes available to us, and includes information on the incident type, location, date and time, and a description of the events (subject to available information).

    Users can be notified when incidents occur via a customisable email mail agent, so you are kept aware of the latest developments that may influence your operations.

  • Our dedicated team of analysts regularly compose and update country threat assessments which cover nine threats with the potential to disrupt commercial operations (including terrorism, kidnap for ransom, hijacking and robbery, theft, stowaway and human trafficking, smuggling, fraud and corruption, insurgency/military operations, and activism).

    Areas experiencing persistent or time-bound threats are highlighted on the System via hotspot and high threat area assessments on the dynamic map interface, enabling you to adopt a proactive approach when planning your operations.

  • Truck Parking Area Assessments enable you to visualise available truck parking options for both planned and unplanned stops along your routes through a user-friendly interface, saving you time to focus on your core business.

    Our team has assessed almost 9,000 parking areas throughout Europe, including almost 200 secure sites. Our analysts look at the security measures of parking sites, how attractive they are from the criminal perspective, as well as the number and type of incidents at and near the sites, and the capabilities and intent displayed by local criminals. These criteria help us generate reliable and dynamic parking area risk assessments, which may increase or decrease over time depending on the local situation.

    The Company Parking Approval feature lets you approve or disapprove sites for your company’s use based on guidance provided by our System assessments and your own organisation’s risk tolerance and share a list of your approved or disapproved sites with your logistics partners.

  • The Route Planning Tool allows you to save routes to the System, get an overview of the parking available along your route, and receive notifications when incidents take place. Associated strategic and tactical dashboards give you a complete overview of all your routes and allow you to share incident data, parking assessments, as well as personalised documents and notes within your company, so you and your colleagues are continuously aware of the threats that may impact your operations.

Manned in multiple time zones, including CET, PST, and SGT, the Duty Watch Team provides near-continuous coverage seven days a week, with rapid responses expected throughout weekdays and prompt replies within a few hours during weekends.

The Duty Watch team also welcomes questions or information on threats or incidents that are not yet published, as well as feedback, information, and observations from vessels and staff in areas of concern. They will either respond immediately or relay the request to a relevant staff analyst. Response time may be longer if Risk Intelligence analysts are consulted.
