In a recent interview with The Loadstar, Hans Tino Hansen, CEO of Risk Intelligence, downplayed Houthi leader Abdul Malik Al-Houthi's threats to expand attacks on shipping into the Eastern Mediterranean. Hansen stated that without Iranian support, the Houthis lack the resources and capabilities for such operations.

While Hezbollah could potentially launch attacks in the region, the Risk Intelligence report highlighted that this would be geopolitically risky for Iran. The report concluded that the Houthi threats are unlikely to materialise due to the complexity, limited range, and accuracy of their weapons.
