In a recent interview with Ingeniøren, Risk Intelligence CEO Hans Tino Hansen shared insights regarding vulnerabilities in supply chains, particularly in light of a large-scale attack on Hezbollah in Lebanon.

The article, published on 19 September 2024, delves into a large-scale supply chain attack in Lebanon and highlights the broader vulnerabilities of the global supply chains. Hans Tino Hansen, CEO of Risk Intelligence, emphasises that the attack has exposed the immense risks within supply chains, describing it as a "real eye-opener" for what is possible on a large scale.

Hans Tino Hansen explains that while securing every link of a supply chain is theoretically possible, it is practically unfeasible due to the high costs and complexity, especially with supplier changes. Hansen underscores that the current approach based on security certification and random inspections of goods, such as containers  will need to be improved, making it critical to prioritise security within supply chain processes to prevent similar large-scale disruptions in the future.
